The busyness of life has gotten the best of me.  As you can see, I haven't blogged in a while.  While we have had events to crochet beds, I haven't been as good at blogging it.  This, however, I feel compelled to blog.  Read on!

Yesterday a few students and I went under a bridge in downtown Indianapolis.  There are about 42 homeless friends living in tents under this bridge.  We spontaneously went because one of the homeless friends had personally requested some more of the bags for beds mats.  The weather is getting colder and this helps keep them warm.  They are not allowed to have fires under the bridge so their challenge is to stay warm.  We partnered with another ministry to provide food, pass out about 20 beds and be a part of a church service with them.

In front of me stood a guy that was pierced by the holy spirit with the word being spoken.  The more God's word was spoken, the greater the winds picked up.  It was as if Satan was trying to drown out hearing God's word but the sermon just got louder for everyone to hear.  This gentleman began to cry.  Then it happened.  "If anyone here would like to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, raise your hand".  He raised his hand.  Wow!

I had the opportunity to lay hands on John, pray over him, welcome him to the family of believers, and give him a hug.  It was great to see God wishes for no one to perish.  It was great for God to show up while we were there.  It was an awesome experience for the students and created a memory that will forever be etched in their mind.  Please pray for John.
